What you will learn

you will be introduced to the basics of what Yoga Nidra is, its basics, the difference between Yoga Nidra and a regular meditation practice and the science behind it. This workshop addresses the effects of stress on the body, an individual’s stressors and how Yoga Nidra can help cope with stress.  Individuals taking this course will analyze their own level of stress and triggers and will experience first-hand how a Yoga Nidra practice can help.  Participants will be given the tools to help create their own Yoga Nidra practice.  To complete the course participants are asked to complete a questionnaire, a worksheet, watch/review a presentation, participate in a recorded Yoga Nidra practice, and submit their own personal observations of its effects on themselves and their stress.  Finally, they will be asked to complete an overall assessment for the workshop and outline a Yoga Nidra practice for themselves.
